Friday, June 13, on a sunlit rooftop of the Schieblock in the centre of Rotterdam, the third Floral Tweetjam (# ftj3) was held. During this event, in two sessions, 20 arrangers created more than 50 floral designs with the theme 'Changing Times', The world is changing fast, "Changing Times" refers to the trend in which consumers are becoming increasingly aware. The workshop could be followed by everyone, through a livestream and viewers had the option of using Twitter and Facebook to respond to what they saw. Pim van den Akker, moderator of the day, asked the participants to comment and provided background information on the floral arrangements.

During the two sessions an international group of arrangers and floral designers created arrangements inspired by the products that were actually grown on the roof. All results were recorded on the camera with the city skyline as background and will be made available using the social media. The creations, which contain both flowers and ornamental and food plants will provide inspiration for florists worldwide.

During the day more than 300 people watched the live stream and, especially via twitter, there was a wide range and exposure. The reactions of the audience once again ware an indication to the participants to be pleased with the results and an incentive to continue with this initiative.
