Savory Red Mustard Cress Lollipops

Ingredients

(For 4 people)

  • 50 g of Parmesan cheese
  • 2.5 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2.5 tbsp of poppy seeds
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 3/4 cup Red Mustard Cress

Extra:

  • 4 bamboo skewers
  • Baking paper
  • Round mould

Method

Take a baking tray from the oven and cover it with a sheet of baking paper. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius. In the meantime, put the skewers in a layer of water so that they will not burn in the oven.

Grate 50 grams of Parmesan cheese and put it in a bowl. Then mix the cheese with the sesame seeds, poppy seeds, chilli flakes and Mustard Cress. Then cut the skewers to size as lollipop sticks. Put the mould on the baking sheet and sprinkle a thin layer of the cheese mixture in the mould on the baking paper. Carefully remove the mould, place the skewer in the centre of the cheese circle. Then cover the stick with the cheese mixture. Keep in mind that the cheese runs out, so leave some space between the lollipops. Bake the lollipops for about 7 minutes in the oven at 220 degrees C. Then let them rest for 5 minutes and harden.
