Monday, September 5th, the Polish TV chef Robert Maklowicz visited Koppert Cress. At this moment he is preparing a new season of his show 'Robert Maklowicz's Culinary Travels' (2,6 million viewers per show). Each show is recorded in a different region of the world and represents the local kitchen, prepared by Maklowicz himself.

At the Molteni, in our well-known 'Cressperience', he went to work with a selection of 'Dutch Specials'. The 'Dutch Specials' is a select group of growers who is using its expertise to produce special new products, next to their standard products. Species that can be marked with specific flavour, shape or experience and can be seen as notable, unknown or innovative.

The result of Maklowicz was a beautiful combination of these 'Specials': a salad with chicken filet, bacon, yellow- and red peppers, frisee lettuce, olive oil, mini-tomatoes, sweet potatoes and the well known Shiso Purple, Anise Blossom and Bean Blossom.
